š Lending Library šĀ
Books are a great tool to help children to develop their listening and communication skills. We are launching our new Lending Library where children can borrow books and home learning packs from pre-school. Your child will receive a book bag with their name on, and each child will choose their own book and/or home learning pack to bring home. Return your childās book bag each week to swap their book for another.Ā
ā New Star Charts āĀ
We recently received feedback from some parents that they would like to see more updates on their childās progress at pre-school. This is great! Alongside the weekly updates on Tapestry each child will receive a star chart at pre-school that tracks their development, and this will be uploaded to Tapestry every term. When your child has developed in an area of learning they will receive a star to stick on their chart. Speak to your childās key worker to add a star if your child has developed at home too.Ā
"My child's development whilst being at pre-school is coming on in leaps and bounds. She comes home full of stories and new skills that she has learnt at pre-school."
"The stay and play mornings are lovely too, my child loves me coming to see what he gets up to at preschool and loves introducing me to his friends."
"It is clear to me that Upper Hopton Pre-school has been instrumental to my childās development ā their commitment to fostering a loving, thriving and inclusive environment and the level of individual attention provided by the staff ensures that each child can develop both emotionally and academically in a wonderfully supportive setting."
